Service as usual during the Canada Postal Workers Labour Dispute

Canada Postal workers have announced a series of rotating strikes. This means that many areas will not be affected. LearningToys is monitoring the situation on a daily basis.  

To ensure that our usual speedy delivery service continues as usual,  the following changes have been made to our delivery policy. 

 Whenever possible deliveries will be made via CanPar

  • Orders to P.O. boxes will continue to be shipped via Canada Post.  
  • Out of the way places and remote postal regions will continue to be shipped via Canada Post.
  • Express shipping is temporarily unavailble.
  • We encourage you to ship to an address where you know that someone can be present to receive  your order. e.g. a work address. If there is no one present to receive your parcel at the shipping destination, CanPar will take it to their nearest depot. CanPar depots are not as conveniently located as Canada Post Outlets.
  • Returns to LearningToys.ca may incur longer lead times  to be received and processed at our warehouse. Please know that we will do our very best to process your return and refund in the timeliest manner possible. 

As soon as we are confidant that the labour disruption is resolved, we will return to using Canada Post for all deliveries. They provide the best possible delivery service to residential addresses.
